Our coaches are all familiar with Innervate’s approach to developing individual and team performance, leadership and wellbeing and are focused on finding solutions that enable clients to improve outcomes for themselves and others.

Meet our coaches

Ian Richards

Ian is co-director and founder of Innervate and has over 20 years coaching experience working with individuals, leaders and teams across the commercial, education and health sectors. He also has extensive experience of high-performance coaching across a wide range of contexts from organisational leaders to professional athletes. In all his coaching, Ian has a consistent theme of helping individuals and teams to enhance performance and create more success while building and maintaining wellbeing.

Nerine Gregersen

Nerine provides in-person and online Supervision. Nerine practised medicine for over 25 years, in both public and private healthcare settings. Having worked in diverse cultural and socioeconomic settings, and in multidisciplinary teams, she understands the challenges of being a healthcare professional. She has mentored and provided Supervision for individuals ranging from undergraduate students to managers and leaders. Nerine has credentials and experience in counselling, Supervision, Mind-Body medicine, Logotherapy, yoga and yoga nidra. She is also a certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator. These skills allow her to provide a service uniquely suited to Healthcare Professionals.

Mikal Nielsen

Mikal is a personal and professional development coach with 30+ years of experience, helping business owners, leaders and teams with reducing stress, elevating control and creating inner peace. Mikal is a public speaker and author of multiple books, including his latest "Time Management: A complete waste of time"

Sarah Amy Glensor Best

With a solid grounding in human development and the neuroscience of how your brain & body work together, Sarah is a parenting coach who has worked with 1000s of parents internationally. She was National Delivery Manager & National Coach for Brainwave Trust Aotearoa and has been a Kaiako (educator) for 15 years. Her first published book “Changing the World is Child’s Play” has been sold internationally and is followed by multiple eBooks and articles to help people explore life, love & powerful parenting.

Cheryl Robinson

Cheryl is an International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 1,000 hours of 1:1 coaching experience. Her specialised approach empowers people, including emerging and existing leaders to foster a positive workplace culture through respect, open communication, and continuous growth. By navigating challenges with a positive mindset, enhancing your wellbeing, and building strong relationships, you can achieve your personal and professional goals.

Colin Littlewood

Colin has a wide breadth of experience working with individuals, groups, teams and organisations in conflict. He works from the belief that we all want to be treated as if we matter and when we are not, we suffer. Inversely, when our inherent value and worth is honoured and recognised, we thrive. Colin's approach involves resolving interpersonal and workplace conflicts through Restorative Resolution and Conflict Coaching.

Patrick Sherratt

Patrick is co-founder and director of Innervate and specialises in helping people apply wellbeing and stress management skills into their professional and personal lives. In addition, as author of the internationally renowned book "Passing Exams for Dummies", Patrick is a recognised expert in supporting people through the challenges of exam preparation.
